dad is a very skilled woodturner and he loves to make pens. I already own three handmade pens and I absolutely love them! So after a few years of seeing him make pretty stuff, I wanted to try it for myself. So this weekend I made my very own pen and I love it.

It was hard work, but I think I did okay. I didn’t break any tools and I ended up with a pretty pen.

And this is the result. One maple pen. I love the lines of the fungus that are still left on the pen. (Oh it’s so much fun to write with it!)
