Armbandhulpje

A little helper I made for my wife who is sometimes struggeling to get her barcelet on.
Bowl of tulipwood

One of the benefits of the new lathe is that I can experiment with making bigger things, like bowls. So after the last one, I wanted to try it again. It turned out to be a a slightly different model than the one I made before.

Oh and pay special attention to the little dark spot you can see in the wood. I think that’s part of the charm.
A tulip-wood bowl
It was time to try to make another bowl. Time I choose to make it with tulip-wood. It has a diameter of twenty centimetres and is five centimetre high.

Pen holder
I also made a pen holder for the pen made of ship wreck timber. The bottem is made of purperwood, the holder itself is made of the wreck timber I had left and the top is made of ironwood.

Here showed while holding the pen.
A pen and a tiny vase
I really like the diversity of wood turning. One moment you making an other pen and suddenly you find yourself turning tiny dolls-house vases.

A fountain pen made of laburnum. I made this one together with the person who received it. We turned it together and put the pieces together. It was a very special experience for the both of us.

A little vase made from yew. It’s really tiny since it was made to fit into a dolls-house.
